Introduction

Mendix Portal is the online platform from Mendix. It allows you to create, share, and manage your resources, and provides access to the following:

• Apps – Create, deploy, and manage apps.
• Deployment – Deploy apps to various target platforms.
• Portfolio – Manage initiatives throughout their development stages.
• Compass – Plan and streamline the implementation of your first app.
• Control Center – View, manage, and control your company's Mendix activities.
• Marketplace – Extend your application with ready-to-use components.
• Catalog – Manage your OData, REST, Web Service, and Business Event assets.
• Docs – The guide that you are currently reading.
• Academy – Explore learning paths.
• Community – Connect with Community members, and ask and answer questions.

Logging In to Mendix Portal

To log in to Mendix Portal, choose the option that suits your use case:

• (1) Use the Work Email Address and Password fields if you have defined a set of credentials during signup.
  This option is also appropriate if you are a Mendix or Siemens employee, with company credentials.
• (2) Use the SAP BTP option if you are an SAP customer and are using the SAP BTP platform.
• (3) Use the Siemens ID option if you are a Siemens customer and have an account in the Siemens ID system.
  If, however, you are a Siemens employee, use option (1) to log in with your Siemens email address.
