2026 Control Center Release Notes
June 2026

New Features
- We have introduced end-user metering in Control Center. The new End-Users page gives you centralized visibility into user subscription consumption across all production apps. User metering runs continuously in the background, automatically deduplicating cross-app users and hashing user identities for privacy. You can view named user counts per app, monitor entitlements by subscription type, and access monthly reports and daily usage snapshots. Apps continue running without disruption if usage exceeds seat limits. For details, refer to End-Users.

New Features
- You can now define and enforce policies to ensure your app landscape is secure, compliant, and consistent. The new Policies page in Control Center allows you to create policies that check for conditions like finding severity, Mendix runtime version, and Marketplace component licenses and support types. Policy violations are automatically detected and reported in Software Composition. For details, refer to Policies, Policy Status, and Software Composition.
- The Audit Logs page is now generally available (GA).

- Software Composition is now enhanced with the ability to view details on components marked as Vulnerable. This is available on the Overview and the Components tabs of Software Composition, and provides valuable information about the severity and CVSS score of the finding.

New Features
- We have introduced Private Connectivity, a zero-trust security infrastructure which helps you manage connections between your Mendix Cloud apps and internal resources, bypassing the public internet. It allows you to create secure networks through which your apps can safely access internal databases and services hosted on-premises or in cloud environments, without exposing them publicly.
Refer to Private Connectivity for background details and architecture, then read through Configuring and Using Private Connectivity to learn how to create and manage your own private networks.
